"This is the time to be slow, Lie low to the wall "This is the time to be slow,
Lie low to the wall
Until the bitter weather passes.
Try, as best you can, not to let
The wire brush of doubt
Scrape from your heart
All sense of yourself
And your hesitant light.
If you remain generous,
Time will come good;
And you will find your feet
Again on fresh pastures of promise,
Where the air will be kind
And blushed with beginning."
{John O'Donohue}

The right poem will find you exactly when you need it to ☁️🤎🍂✨

Consider this a gentle reminder, in case you need it, to always look for the light ✨
We’re halfway through the week. We got this! ☺️

The air was fresh with the scent of spring today. The snow is in retreat, it’s milder than it’s been in weeks and, slowly but surely, the days are getting longer! The snow was lovely while it lasted but I’m so glad that spring is on the way 🌱☀️

Throwback to a rainy day in Bath because I am always daydreaming about exploring more of this beautiful city. ☁️🍂✨ It's one of those places that always pulls me back in and will definitely be on my list of places to visit once all this has passed. Remember city breaks?! Exploring new streets, ducking into coffee shops, the thrill of a newly-discovered bookshop.. I will never take that for granted again, that’s for sure! 🤎✨
"How beautiful a street is in winter! It is at onc "How beautiful a street is in winter! It is at once revealed and obscured... to escape is the greatest of pleasures; street haunting in winter the greatest of adventures." {Virginia Woolf}

Cascading cobblestones and quirky colourful shops - Victoria Street is definitely my favourite street to haunt 🧡✨ Hope you’re having a lovely start to February! I’m looking forward to pancakes, longer days, a new Sarah J Maas novel, and snowdrop spotting 🌱 how about you?
“For there is always light, if only we’re brav “For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.” {Amanda Gorman}

I miss libraries. I miss wandering through rows and rows of books, the gentle quiet, the whisper of turning pages. I can't wait to walk through these doors, the familiar weight of a bulging book bag slung across my shoulder. But until then, I will happily admire them from afar. Fortunately for me, this beauty is just as lovely from the outside! ✨📔☁️🍂
